What are Backlinks and its types?

Backlinks are those links which connects back to your site or domain. Suppose you have a website “A” with the url or domain www.kuchbhi.com and you published this link on other website, lets say “B”. Then this link on website “B” when clicked will move the person to your website.

These backlinks are also called “Inbound links or external links”.

Types of Backlinks:

There are 4 types of backlinks in digital marketing

Inbound links: These links comes from other website. As their name suggest “IN” which means the links that are pointing towards your website .

      Outbound links: These are the links that you put in your website or webpages. These links on clicking will take the user to other persons website

      Internal links: These links connect one pages of domain to other webpages of the same domain.

      External links: Any links which point to other domain is an external link.

Types of Backlinks submission:

You can submit various types of links on other websites which can be in the form of images, videos, classified, short content, social bookmarking etc.

 

Image submission : In this type of submission , you usually submits images with the links to your website.  Some of these website are dribbble, tumblr, pinterest, behance etc.

Advice:  Remember while making image submission rename your image to your keyword name or something similar. Don’t use random name for the images. Since google crawler cannot read the images they will identify the image with the name you use for it.

Social Bookmarking:  It’s another type of bookmarking in which a user post stuff and leave links on the social media or social sites where people usually connects with each other. Some best example of these websites are : Instapaper, Scoop, Slashdot, Wakelet etc.

Profile Creation : Such type of backlinks are created when you are creating a profile for a particular person or your client. Suppose you have a client Mr. James and you want to do a profile creation of it. It means that you will create a proper profile solely with his name and his company name. Like you have your facebook account with only your name, where you post things solely related to you or your life.

Some profile creating website include: bresdel, joyrulez, gab etc.

Classified/ Business listing: Classified is also called business listing and plays a significant role in backlinks creation. You list your business in classified . But do make sure to list you business in your local classified first. Then you could shift to list your business in other classified .
